The 10 Most Expensive Luxury Penthouses

By on January 12, 2015

Penthouses are generally some of the most expensive properties that money can buy, due to their stunning vistas and urban splendor.

We’ve all dreamed of owning a skyscraping penthouse in our favorite city, peering down at the ground level homes of the rest of society.

But the penthouses on this list exceed most of our wildest dreams. Penthouses that rest atop some of the world’s tallest buildings; penthouses with their own water parks; penthouses that cost several times the net worth of many¬†countries in the world.

The ten penthouses show here will make you re-evaluate what luxury really is.

Brace yourselves for fits of jealousy, shock, and utter disbelief.

#10: One Madison, New York, USA – $43 million

Stretching from the 58th floor to the 60th floor in this gigantic building in New York City, the penthouse at the newly-constructed One Madison building is stunning, to say the least.

At 7,000 square feet, this three-story residence is probably much bigger than your home…and your home doesn’t offer stunning 360 views of the city that never sleeps.

The penthouse has five bedrooms, five-and-a-half baths, its own elevator, and an elegant grand spiral staircase, to name just a few of its accommodations.

You can buy the unit unfurnished, or, for a heftier price tag, you can buy it fully furnished by the interior designer who is responsible for the building’s opulent amenities.

If you can’t swing the $43 million to purchase the penthouse, though, worry not – you could always buy One Madison’s second largest unit for the completely reasonable price of $32 million.
