#7: Louis Vuitton Urban Satchel – $150,000

You know the saying “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure?”

Well, that certainly applies here, as the $150,000 Louis Vuitton Urban Satchel is quite literally a bunch of trash with the price tag of a very expensive treasure.

Whether you consider this “purse” to be literal garbage or fashionable art is a matter of personal taste, but the exorbitant price for this limited edition bag is not.

Indeed, Louis Vuitton’s most famous and most expensive bag is made of fine, authentic leather…and covered in actual urban trash. To design the bag, the people at Vuitton assembled large quantities of trash and plastered some of the refuse onto these bags to make a statement.

What the hell the statement is, I’m not entirely sure, but they definitely made people take notice, so you can give Vuitton credit for that.

Only 14 of the “trash bags” were produced, all adorned with different discarded treasures, making them very…unique.

#6: Chanel Diamond Forever Classic Bag – $261,000

Here we go from literal trash to a bag that defines class and elegance – the Chanel Diamond Forever Classic Bag.

This one’s value seems just a little bit more understandable, as it is objectively luxurious and classy, in contrast to something as subjective as the previous entry.

The Chanel Diamond Forever Classic Bag is the iconic brand Chanel’s nicest and most expensive bag ever produced, and that’s saying something when you’re talking about a famous luxury brand.

This bag was made in 2007, and only 13 copies of the item were ever released, making it exceedingly hard to get your hands on.

The Diamond Forever bag is made with 334 diamonds set in 18-carat white gold, and the exterior is composed of white alligator skin.

To be the envy of all her friends, a lady must first spend $261k on this famous bag.
